UML to help pass Bill regarding loan sharking

KATHMANDU, July 16: CPN-UML is going to help pass the bill to punish the loan sharks. Leader Subash Nemwang, who is also the deputy leader of the UML parliamentary party, informed that UML will assist in passing the bill in the meeting of the House of Representatives today at 1 pm.

The CPN-UML central secretariat meeting held on Saturday condemned the deceitful and dual role of the government regarding loan sharking. The meeting also drew the attention of the party government to bring a new bill without delay as the replacement bill has become inactive due to the government.

UML Vice Chairman Nemwang met Speaker Devraj Ghimire, Congress leaders and Law Minister Dhanraj Gurung while a meeting was going on at the UML Central Office at Chyasal on Saturday and suggested that the bill be implemented. According to the same agreement, UML will help pass the bill.

Leader Nemwang also held a discussion with Chairman KP Sharma Oli on Sunday morning and in the discussion, opined that the bill should be moved forward.
