Finance Minister Mahat leaves for India

KATHMANDU, July 16: Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat has left for India. According to his Secretariat, Finance Minister Mahat left for India to participate in the G20 Finance Track meeting on Sunday morning.

According to the Secretariat, Finance Minister Mahat is accompanied by Joint Secretary Shri Krishna Nepal and Private Secretary Yuvraj Pandey to look after foreign affairs. Finance Minister Mahat is scheduled to return home on Wednesday.

The G20 Finance Track meeting will be held in Gujarat, India on Monday and Tuesday, which will be attended by Finance Ministers and Governors of various countries.

India is holding the G20 Summit coming September. The meeting going to be held is for the preparation of the Summit.
