PM Dahal’s wife, Sita Dahal, passes away

KATHMANDU, July 12: Sita Dahal, the wife of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has passed away. She passed away at 8:33 am on Wednesday, today, at Norvic Hospital during treatment.

The hospital informed that Dahal died due to a Cardiac arrest. She was suffering from Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a disease considered rare, which affects the human nervous system, due to which, she was unable to even walk.

Her body will be kept in the party’s Central Office in Parisdanda from 11 am to 1 pm for paying tributes and will be taken to Pashupati for her funeral at 2 pm, informed Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
