Manang Air Crash Update: All 6 dead
KATHMANDU, July 11: All 6 people on board the 9N-AMV helicopter of Manang Air have died after the helicopter was caught in an accident.
DIG of Koshi Province Rajeshnath Bastola told Ratopati that 6 people were found dead after the helicopter heading to Kathmandu from Surke, Lukla crashed in the Likhupike Rural Municipality of Solukhumbu.
The preliminary investigation by the police has concluded that the helicopter that flew to Kathmandu at 10:13 in the morning crashed into a tree. The dead bodies of Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung and other 5 citizens of Mexico were found in Lamjuradanda located in Likhupike Rural Municipality-5 at the site of the accident.
The initial investigation by the police concluded that the helicopter, which took off at 10:13 am in the morning, crashed into a tree. The dead bodies of the 5 victims including Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung were found in a burnt state.
