Altitude Air helicopter mobilised to search for crashed helicopter

KATHMANDU, July 11: A helicopter has been mobilised from Kathmandu to search for the Manang Air helicopter that crashed at Lamjura Hill located in Solu Dudhkunda Municipality-2, Solukhumbu. Manang Air's Chief Executive Officer Raju Neupane told Ratopati that the helicopter was mobilised with a rescue team of 6 people.

According to the 'Control Room' of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the 9N-AMV helicopter of Manang Air arrived at the Lukla Tower at 10:13 am.

It has been confirmed that Captain CB Gurung and 5 Mexican travelers were in the helicopter. Among the passengers are Fernando Sifuentes, Rincon Ismail, Abrica Gonzalez, Olacio Gonzalez and Maria Jose Sifuentes.
