LOD owner Suwal arrested in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, July 6: The owner of the Lord of the Drinks (LOD) club in Thamel, Kathmandu has been arrested. Owner Rajusingh Suwal was arrested by the Police from Baluwatar on Thursday evening.
SSP Siddhi Bikram Shah of the Lalitpur District Police Range said that Suwal was arrested in the incident of rape of a minor who was allowed inside the club.
The Lalitpur District Police Range had obtained an arrest warrant from the Lalitpur District Court against the two owners of the club, Rudil Shrestha and Rajusingh Suwal.
A 15-year-old minor who went to the LOD club was raped by 50-year-old Sudan Koirala from Pokhara, who took her to his room in Lalitpur on the 14th of June. Koirala has already been arrested by the police.
