Foreign Ministry calls for Finance Ministry to pay President's medical expenses

KATHMANDU, July 4: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written to the Ministry of Finance to pay the medical expenses of President Ramchandra Paudel during his treatment in Delhi, India.

President Paudel was taken to New Delhi for treatment from the 19th of April to the 30th by a charter air ambulance flight of Shree Airlines.

On June 26, the Ministry of Finance agreed to spend Rs 5 million 504 thousand and 654 for health treatment and other expenses in accordance with the prevailing laws and approved standards.

In accordance with the same agreement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has written to the Ministry of Finance to release the money for the purpose of paying the expenses of the President's treatment.
