Sudurpashchim National Youth Scientist Summit to be organized on June 30 & July 1

DHANGADHI, KAILALI, June 29: On June 30 and July 1, 2023, the National Youth Council, Province Youth Council, Sudurpashchim, and Robotics Association of Nepal[RAN] are jointly organizing Sudurpashchim National Youth Scientist Summit. There will be one Keynote Presentation, two High-level Panel Discussions, fifteen Research Paper / Project Presentations, seventeen Innovation Project Exhibitions & one Career Expo along with one Mini Yantra Provincial Robotics Competition (Robo Race and Robo Soccer) in the program.

Dr. Rabindra Pd. Dhakal, Chief of Faculty of Technology & Spokesperson, NAST will be the keynote speaker of the program.

The first Panel Discussion will be moderated by Er. Bikash Gurung, President, Robotics Association of Nepal followed by a second panel discussion moderated by Er. Deepak Bist, President, Robotics Association of Nepal Farwest.

The research paper/project presentation includes research findings on Biotechnology, Astronomy, Electronics Manufacturing, Robotics, GIS mapping, Disaster Management, Biomedical Equipment Management, Drones, and many others. The innovation Exhibition will include innovations from youth scientists of Sudurpashchim province such as EV Bikes, EV Cars, Banana Fibre Making Machines, Inauguration Robots, 3D Printing, NIZI UPS Router, and many more.

Virinchi College, Sagarmatha Engineering College, Broadway Infosys and Yarsha Tech will help students in choosing their career in Engineering and IT, Skills and Product development in Nepal.
Minister, Ministry of Social Development will be Chief Guest along with Mr. Surendra Bahadur Basnet, Vice-Chairman, National Youth Council as the Guest of Honor with Mr. Yuvraj Kunwar as the event chairman. The program will be electronically inaugurated through Smart Diyo. Scientists, Science, Technology and Innovation leaders, Youths and Tinkerers, Professors, Entrepreneurs, Policy Makers, and Government Authorities will be part of the program. More than 2000 youths are expected to join the program and learn about emerging technology and innovation in the country.

The event will be supported by the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology and Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City. Sagarmatha Engineering College will be the engineering education partner, Virinchi College as IT Education partner, Broad mway Infosys as the training partner, and Vianet as an Internet Partner. Youth Innovation Lab, Young Innovation Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Astronomical Society, Biotechnology Society of Nepal, Living with ICT, Yarsha Tech, Nexus Corner, and the Tigg app will be the partners for the event.
