CPN (US) to vote in favor of budget, Janamat to oppose
KATHMANDU, June 28: CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to vote in favor of the budget. MP Krishna Kumar (Kisan) Shrestha informed that the decision was made by the party’s parliamentary party meeting held on Wednesday morning.
With CPN (US) deciding to vote in favor of the budget, Janamat Party has decided to oppose the budget of the fiscal year 2080/081 currently in discussion in the parliament. The decision was made by the parliamentary party meeting chaired by Janamat Party parliamentary party Chairman Dr. CK Raut.
Earlier, the ruling parties Nepali Congress and CPN Maoist Center have already issued a whip for their MPs to vote in favor of the budget.
A proposal is being submitted in the HoR meeting today that the allocated budget for the fiscal year 2080/081 be passed, after the response of the ministries under the Prime Minister.
