PM Dahal, UN Deputy General Secretary meet

KATHMANDU, June 28: On Wednesday morning, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping, held a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, the partnership between Nepal and the United Nations, and Nepal's contribution to peacekeeping forces were discussed in today's meeting.

The Under-Secretary-General Lacroix arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday on a four-day visit. He had a courtesy meeting with the Nepali Army Commander-in-Chief Prabhuram Sharma at the Jangi Adda. According to the army, matters of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
