Lalita Niwas Case Update: Former Election Commissioner arrested

Seven arrested till now

KATHMANDU, June 27: The number of arrested in the Lalita Niwas Case has reached seven, following the arrest of former Election Commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah. Shah was arrested from his residence in Dhumbarahi, according to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG) Kiran Bajracharya.

Earlier, the team of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) arrested Bhat Bhateni Supermarket operator Min Bahadur Gurung, the then Chief of Land Revenue Office Dillibazar Kaladhar Deuja, and employees of the same office Gopal Karki, Surendra Man Kapali, Hupendra Mani KC and Dharma Prasad Gautam.
