LSP giving completion to organizational structure
KATHMANDU, June 27: Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) Nepal has started the homework for giving completion to the organizational structure. LSP Chairman Mahantha Thakur has been doing internal discussions with party leaders for a few days.
No structure has been made according to the party’s interim statute even after the party has reached almost two years of its formation. The executive committee was named when the party was registered on the basis of which, works are being done until now.
LSP’s executive member Laxman Lal Karna informed that they have urged to construct all structures fast. He also informed that the list of the Central Committee members has already been prepared and by giving it an interim form, all the structures will be made public. According to the statute of LSP, there will be a 401-member central committee.
Executive member Keshav Jha said that suggestions have been arriving regarding the number of central committee members, on whether to keep it the same or decrease it. He said that there will be further discussions regarding the matter. He added that if the number of central members is decreased, the statute will also need to be revised, so the discussion is going on regarding this.
He also claimed that the Central Committee is the most powerful body of the party, so it has the right to revise the statute as well.
