Congress issues whip to vote on budget’s favor
KATHMANDU, June 27: The ruling party Nepali Congress has issued a whip to its MPs to vote in favor of the 2080/81 budget. Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak has issued a whip to MPs to attend and vote in favor and not remain neutral on the day the Appropriation Bill is presented for decision.
Preparations have been made to present the Appropriation bill for decision at the meeting of the House of Representatives on the 28th of June, Wednesday at 11 am. Even the MPs of the ruling party are expressing dissatisfaction with the budget. However, the leaders have stated that an understanding has already been made among the top leaders of the ruling party regarding addressing the dissatisfaction with the budget.
