Corruption case against Pashupati Area Development Fund Former Member Secretary Pradeep Dhakal

KATHMANDU, June 26: A corruption case has been filed against the then Member Secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Fund, Dr. Pradeep Dhakal. The Commision of Investigation of Abuse of Authority filed the case against Dr. Dhakal determining that he committed corruption by acquiring illegal wealth while in office.

Out of his 63 million 993 thousand 312 rupees and 41 paisa property, 14 million 411 thousand 781 rupees and 71 paisa were found to be illegal and a case was filed in the special court today with a penalty equal to the illegal amount, spokesperson Bhola Dahal informed.
