"Gulabi" changed to "Gunyo Cholo"
KATHMANDU, June 21: The name of the film "Gulabi" has been changed to "Gunyo Cholo".
The American company "Visual Entertainment" has purchased the international licensing rights of the film. The name of the film was changed to "Gunyo Cholo: Coming of Age of a Girl" after the purchase.
Actor Nazir Hussain is starring in the lead role of the film based on the story of a transgender. Sanchita Luitel, Sushil Sitaula and Bishal Pahari also have major roles in the film.
The film will be released worldwide at the same time. The film is written and directed by Samundra Bhatta. The screenplay and the dialogues are written together by Ramkumar Shrestha and Nazir Hussain. The music in the film is done by Lekhu Sahayatri and Shan Bhusal, the cinematography by Aalok Shukla and the action direction by Samrat Basnet.
