Initiative to rescue 14 Nepalese in UAE

KATHMANDU, June 18: Dubai-based Non-Resident Madhesi Association UAE (NRMA) has started an initiative to rescue 14 Nepalese workers stranded in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

14 Nepalese have been unable to return home as some have been working in the UAE for a long time but were not able to renew their VISAs. Some are not provided a job and some are not even provided food and accommodation by their companies.

Saptari's Arjun Sada, Sunsari's Ajit Kumar Mehta, Rautahat's Ijamanan Hak Shekh, Jumla's Krishna Nepali and others are among the stranded.

Treasurer of NRMA Dubai Sadam Ansari informed that the Association has taken the initiative to rescue them and return them to Nepal.
