Top Bahadur suspended from Member of Parliament position

KATHMANDU, June 16: CPN-UML Secretary Top Bahadur Raymajhi has been suspended as a Member of Parliament. His position as a member of the House of Representatives was suspended after he was sent to jail for the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

In accordance with Rule 148 sub-rule 3 of the House of Representatives, a Member of Parliament is to be suspended from their position if the member goes to jail for criminal charges.
