Economic Affairs Minister Dhan Bahadur Maski is going to present the budget for the financial year 2080/081 in the 11th meeting of the second session of the Provincial Assembly.

Compared to the current fiscal year where the government had brought a budget of around 42 billion rupees, the government has reduced the size of the upcoming fiscal year and is preparing to bring a budget of around 40 billion rupees.

This year, with the decrease in the size of the budget, the budget plan is also going to be narrowed down. The budget has been prepared by prioritizing the programs that will get direct benefits and show achievements.

Government Spokesperson Minister Santosh Pandey told Ratopati that in the coming financial year, priority will be given to employment, tourism, construction of the capital city, agricultural sector development, education, health and social security programs.
