MPs raising questions on proposed Chief Justice Karki

KATHMANDU, June 16: Parliamentarians have started raising questions on the proposed Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Harikrishna Karki in the parliamentary hearing committee.

In the meeting that started at 8 am on Friday at Singha Darbar, MPs are questioning Karki about judicial reforms and his personal actions.

Karki presented his work plan in Thursday's meeting. If the committee is satisfied with Karki’s presentation as he answers the questions of the MPs in today's meeting, the committee can appoint him as the Chief Justice.
