Five actors and Three YouTubers arrested

KATHMANDU, June 15: Police have arrested five actors and three YouTubers on the charge of promoting online betting.
The team of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested the actors Raju Paudel (Raju Master), Marichman Shrestha (Balchhi Dhurbe), Begam Nepali (Bhatbhate Maila), Pawan Khatiwada (Myakuri) and Saroj Ghimire. Similarly, Youtubers Alish Rai, Jalan Gharti Magar and Ganesh Devkota have also been arrested, according to the information given by the Chief SSP of the Office Dr. Manoj KC.
They have been found promoting online betting through their own Facebook pages and YouTube.
Police have informed that it has been found from the investigation that betting of millions has been done through the 1x bet.
