UAE proposes to take Nepalese for work

KATHMANDU, June 14: United Arab Emirates (UAE) has offered a proposal to take domestic workers from Nepal to Arab. UAE proposed this during the Joint Action Committee meeting between Nepal and UAE on Wednesday.

UAE has been proposing to take domestic workers from Nepal in the past. But the government was not able to make a decision as sending domestic workers abroad is banned in Nepal.

UAE's Assistant Under-Secretary Abdullah Alnuimi stated that the UAE was willing to take domestic workers from Nepal. He requested the government to proceed with the process.

UAE claimed to be committed to taking domestic workers and providing necessary security for them. They expressed that the UAE government will also provide language and skill training to the workers from Nepal.
