Clarification to be taken from proposed Chief Justice Karki tomorrow

KATHMANDU, June 14: The parliamentary hearing committee has concluded its meeting with the complainants who filed against the proposed Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki. The committee organized a meeting with the complainant on Wednesday for more clarification on the subject matter.

A decision was made during the meeting to call the proposed Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki for discussion at 8 am on Thursday, Member of Parliament DP Aryal informed.

The hearing on the case will start at 8 am on Thursday and end at 10 am. The committee meeting will be held again on whether to approve the Constitutional Council's recommendation to appoint Karki as Chief Justice, according to MP Aryal.
