Gunshots fired near Tribhuwan International Airport

KATHMANDU, June 11: Gunshots have been fired near the Tribhuwan International Airport on Sunday. Guns were fired by the Drug Control Bureau against a drug dealer on Sunday morning.

The team bureau opened fire at Shambhu Marg located in Sinamangal while arresting the drug dealer, Central Spokesman Kuber Kadayat informed Ratopati.

The police fired back after gunshots were fired against them in the process of arresting the drug dealers. Bikash Bhagwat, who was injured after getting shot by a bullet, has been taken to KMC Hospital for treatment.

Few amounts of drugs were also seized from the dealer, SP Joshi informed.
