Heavy snowfall in Manang

Manang,  Life in the district has been adversely affected by the snowfall accompanied by winds since 2 pm on Tuesday. 
The district has been cut off from communications as the snowfall has made the telephone towers dysfunctional, Chief District Officer, Hari Prasad Panta, said. 
Ten foreign tourists who entered the district on Tuesday and left for upper Manang from Chame are out of communication. The district administration said that the inclement weather has prevented sending any rescue. 
Nasong rural municipality, the Nesyang rural municipality and Narpu rural municipality in the Upper Manang valley beyond Danakyu are all blanketed by snow.
