Cabinet decides to make Industrial village of Panchkhal into Women's Industry Special Industrial Village

KATHMANDU, June 7: The meeting of the Cabinet of the Nepal Government has decided to make the Industrial village of Panchkhal Municipality into a Women's Industry Special Industrial village on the proposal of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

Similarly, Joint Secretary Madan Bhujel has been appointed as the chairman of the Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market Development Committee on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, informed Information and Communication Minister Rekha Sharma, who is also the government spokesperson.

On the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been decided to issue a notice and publish it in the Gazette in accordance with Subsection 1 of Section 3 of the Essential Services Operation Act 2014. Minister Sharma informed that this decision was made according to the provisions to be published every 6 months.

According to the proposal of the Ministry of Forestry and Environment, it has been decided to allow using the forests in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts for the Upper Mayung Khola hydropower project and approve the removal of the trees there.
