International Spiritual Conference begins in Khaptad

DHANGADI, June 6: Khaptad International Spiritual Conference has started. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda inaugurated the conference during the program on Tuesday.

Former Prime Minister Jhalnath Khanal, Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha, Foreign Minister NP Saud, Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, Congress Leader Ramesh Lekhak, UML Leader Bhim Rawal and Indian religious gurus Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna are present in the conference.

The conference – organized in coordination with the Sudurpaschim Province Government, Ministry of Tourism, Nepal Tourism Board, Khaptad Tourism Development and Management and Local level government – will last for three days.

On the second day of the conference, there are programs scheduled for yoga learning as well as a program to present a worksheet by Tribhuwan University Professor and Historian Dr. Rajaram Subedi on the topic of religious and tourism aspects of Khaptad.

The conference was organized for the first time in Khaptad. It was organized to promote national and international tourists to this major tourist destination.
