Demonstration in Madhes against SC order

JANAKPURDHAM, June 5: Demonstrations have started in Madhes since Monday morning after the Supreme Court on Sunday, ordered not to implement the Citizenship Act immediately. Citizenshipless citizens are protesting against the order of the Supreme Court. They are protesting by burning tires on the highway, and shouting slogans against the Supreme Court and the parties against the Citizenship Bill Authentication.

After the demonstration, the Dhalkebar Janakpur road section is now blocked. Due to the blockade, the passengers are facing problems. The protestors have planned a program including protesting in front of all the district administration offices of Madhes province.

The common people without citizenship were overjoyed after the President certified the citizenship bill. About 500,000 youths in Madhes do not have citizenship yet.
