Detention hearing begins in District Court, court to issue order next Wednesday

KATHMANDU, June 4: The detention hearing of the fake Bhutanese refugee case has started in District Court. The detention hearing has started in the bench of District Court Justice Prem Prasad Neupane.

The government advocate has initiated a debate on behalf of the complainant. Justice Neupane has granted 3 days to the government advocate for the debate on behalf of the complainant. He has also granted 6 days to the advocate on behalf of the defendant.

Justice Neupane announced to issue his court order after the detention hearing next Wednesday. The detention hearing started today after the testimony of all 18 defendants was completed. Order will be issued on the decision to send the accused to trial after the detention hearing.
