Protest in Capital against Citizenship Bill Authentication

KATHMANDU, June 4: Nepal Workers Peasants' Party protested in the Capital Kathmandu on Sunday against the Citizenship Bill Authentication done by President Ram Chandra Paudel.

The central member of the party Saroj Raj Gosain informed that a rally was organized in Koteshwar that marched towards the New Baneshwor near the Federal Parliament Building for a protest. The central leaders of the party addressed the protesters during the protest.

The Citizenship Bill Authentication has become controversial and a writ petition, regarding the issue, has been filed in the Supreme Court as well.
