PM Dahal returning home today
NEW DELHI, June 3: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is returning to Nepal today after completing his four-day visit to India.
Claiming that the visit was successful, PM Dahal said that this has added a new brick to the economic prosperity and development process of Nepal.
He said that the agreements reached during the visit were important in themselves and that he discussed them with the interests of the entire country at the center. He said that based on the discussion with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there was an agreement on long-term energy trade. He said that this type of agreement will help bring in large investments in Nepal's energy sector. The prime minister said that India will import 10,000 megawatts in ten years, which is historic and important in itself. The Prime Minister mentioned that it can be assumed that a tripartite agreement has now been reached between Nepal, India and Bangladesh.
Earlier on Friday morning as well, while talking to media persons in Delhi, Prachanda had said that the visit was fruitful.
