Testimony of three including Tek Narayan being taken

KATHMANDU, May 31: On the case of fake Bhutanese refugees, the testimony of three more defendants is being taken on Wednesday.

The testimony of Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, Sanu Bhandari, who is considered the mastermind, and Govinda Chaudhary are being taken on the bench of District Justice Prem Prasad Neupane.

The testimony of defendants on the case of fake Bhutanese refugees started on May 26 in Kathmandu District Court. The testimony of Keshab Prasad Dulal, Sagar Rai, Sandeep Rayamajhi, Laxmi Maharjan, Tanka Kumar Gurung, Sandesh Sharma, Indrajeet Rai and Narendra KC have been taken so far. 

There are 30 defendants in the fake Bhutanese refugee case. Among them, 17 have been captured while 13 are still absconding.
