Laughter bursts in parliament as Finance Minister proposes legalization of cannabis cultivation

Kathmandu, May 29: The government has proposed the possibility of cannabis cultivation. During the budget speech for the next fiscal year, Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat announced the possibility of cannabis cultivation for medicinal purposes.

The government has announced the possibility of cannabis farming after various pleas to the government regarding the legalization of cannabis farming.

A burst of laughter arose when the Finance Minister proposed this in parliament and the Finance Minister also started laughing while looking at the parliament members.
