LSP participating in Madhes government, given Forest Ministry

KATHMANDU, May 25: Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) is participating in the Madhes provincial government today under the leadership of LSP Madhes Province Provincial Assembly member Ramesh Patel. 

LSP Executive member Jitendra Sonal said that it has been decided to go to the government by taking the responsibility of the Ministry of Forest and Environment. He informed that Patel will be sworn in as the Minister of Forest and Environment.

LSP has participated in the Central government with one Ministry and has been demanding two Ministries in the Madhes Province. But there has been an agreement on one Ministry. Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has been leading the Madhes government in the first phase, where the coalition meeting decided upon the turn-wise leading of the Madhes government.
