President Paudel to address joint meeting of Parliament today

KATHMANDU, May 19: President Ramchandra Paudel is scheduled to address the joint meeting of both houses of the federal parliament today. The Secretariat of the Federal Parliament informed that President Paudel will address the joint meeting to be held at the Federal Parliament Building New Baneshwor at 4 pm.

There is a constitutional provision that the President can address the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament and call for the presence of members for that. This will be his first speech in the Federal Parliament after being elected President.

The main task of the federal parliament is to present the annual policies and programs of the government in the federal parliament and pass them after discussion.
