Australian PM invited to visit Nepal
KATHMANDU, May 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has invited Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for a visit to Nepal.
Prime Minister Prachanda gave the invitation to visit Nepal through Australian Assistant Foreign Minister Tim Watts, who is on a visit to Nepal. Assistant Foreign Minister Watts reached Baluwatar on Wednesday to meet PM Dahal.
During this, the private secretariat of PM Dahal informed that various issues of bilateral interest and mutual interest were discussed.
PM Dahal said that he expected the continued support of the Australian government and people for the development and prosperity of Nepal and also expressed his concern about the situation and problems of Nepali students in Australia.
Similarly, there was a discussion about the commercialization of the agricultural sector and the development of agriculture-based industries for the economic prosperity of Nepal. The support in the promotion of the tourism sector of Nepal was also discussed.
Watts also praised the contribution of the Nepalese and said that they have made a good influence in Australia and expressed his belief that the support of the Australian government and people will continue in the campaign for the development and prosperity of Nepal.
