Hari Krishna Karki recommended Chief Justice

KATHMANDU, May 8: The name of the acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki has been recommended for the Chief Justice. The Constitutional Council meeting held at Singha Darbar on Monday recommended Hari Krishna Karki for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
After Karki's parliamentary hearing, the President will appoint Karki as the Chief Justice.
In the last 15 months, the Chief Justice has not been appointed to the Supreme Court.
