UML Chair Oli says Top Bahadur is not in contact with him

KATHMANDU, May 6: CPN UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has said that MP Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, the Secretary of UML is not in contact with him. Chairman Oli reached Singha Darbar on Saturday to discuss the investigation going on with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' regarding the fake Bhutanese refugees' case.

After the meeting with PM Dahal, replying to media persons, he said that he was unaware of the condition of Rayamajhi, who was absconding after the arrest warrant was issued. He said, 'Rayamajhi is not in contact with me. You tell me.' Oli explained that some people have spread false rumors that he is giving protection to the criminal.

This is the second meeting Chairman Oli has had with the Prime Minister on the issue of the fake Bhutanese refugees. The two leaders had a discussion on this issue last Thursday as well. After the meeting, Oli warned that he will not tolerate persecution of the innocent.

Saying that the matter of 4 years ago has come out now, Oli also asked the question saying, "Why did a member of parliament and a party leader have to be arrested in a conspiratorial manner?" Oli informed that he has drawn the Prime Minister's attention to this matter.
