President appoints three Ministers

KATHMANDU, May 3: President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed three Ministers as per Clause 9 of Article 76 of the Constitution. President Paudel has appointed Dhanraj Gurung as the Minister of Law, Mohan Basnet as the Health Minister and Dig Bahadur Limbu as the Minister of Youth and Sports.

All three newly appointed Ministers are from Nepali Congress. Now all the eight Ministries that Congress received have been completed, which could not be done before as understanding was not reached for the division of Ministries.

Following this, Suresh Chalise, the foreign advisor to President Ramchandra Paudel, informed Ratopati that the newly appointed ministers will be sworn in tomorrow at 3 pm.
