SC orders Kathmandu Metropolitan to remove Singha Darbar's garbage within 3 days

KATHMANDU, April 21: The Supreme Court has ordered Kathmandu Metropolitan to remove the garbage of Singha Darbar within 3 days.

Advocate Padam Bahadur Shrestha filed a writ petition against Mayor Balen Shah after Shah expressed that he would not remove the garbage of Singha Darbar.

Judge Prakashman Singh Raut has ordered to collect and dispose of the garbage of Singha Durbar within 3 days on Friday. The Supreme Court has drawn the 'serious attention' of the Office of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet for necessary coordination and proper cooperation at the Landfill site.
