KATHMANDU, April 17: There has been a clash between the metered-interest victims and the police. When the police tried to stop the protest by the victims at Shanti Batika in Ratna Park on Monday, a clash broke out.

It is said that the police have detained 30 metered-interest victims among the protestors. The victims have accused the police of repressing the protestors. They said they will continue their protests until their demands are met.

The metered-interest victims protesting in Shanti Batika had been preparing to demonstrate around the Singha Darbar on Monday. A clash broke out between the police and the victims at Shanti Batika after the district administration ordered the police administration to deploy their forces to prevent protests around the Singha Darbar.
