RSP central committee meeting to decide on MP Shrestha at 2 pm

KATHMANDU, April 12: A central committee meeting of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party is taking place today. 

The meeting called for 9 am on Wednesday has been postponed to 2 pm.

According to the party source, the central committee meeting will decide on the audio scam related to its parliamentarian Dhaka Kumar Shrestha. 

RSP's central discipline committee submitted a report on an alleged audio deal involving Shrestha to party President Rabi Lamichhane on Tuesday. 

In the explanation given to the committee, Shrestha claimed that the video clip was fake. MP Shrestha has warned that he will reveal the core team of party President Rabi Lamichhane who is asking for money if he is prosecuted by the party.

According to Shrestha, it is understood that the core team includes RSP Vice President Dolprasad Aryal and central member Deepak Bohra. According to RSP sources, Vice President Aryal says that there should be no action against MP Shrestha.
