President Poudel's health improving, Political leaders visit hospital

KATHMANDU, April 2: President Ramchandra Paudel's health is reported to be improving, according to a statement released by the administration chief of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, where he is currently admitted.

The President was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after he fell ill, and since then, he has been receiving medical attention from a team of doctors. The statement from the hospital administration chief, Baikuntha Prasad Thapaliya, has given relief to the President's well-wishers, who were anxiously awaiting news of his condition.

The improvement in his health has prompted visits from several political leaders, including Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka, lawmaker Surendra Acharya, and former Speaker Taranath Ranabhat. They have all visited the hospital to inquire about the President's health and wish him a speedy recovery.

Chiranjibi Adhikari, the President's private secretary, confirmed that the visitors had taken stock of the President's health condition. He added that the President was in good spirits and was looking forward to getting back to work soon.

President Paudel is a well-respected figure in Nepal, and news of his illness had caused concern among the public. However, with the latest update on his health, it seems that he is on the road to recovery, and his well-wishers will be hoping that he makes a full and speedy recovery.
