KATHMANDU, March 9: The third presidential election of Nepal is underway at the federal parliament building in Kathmandu.

The election, which began on March 9, has Ram Chandra Poudel of the Nepali Congress and Subhash Chandra Nembang of CPN-UML vying for the post. Lawmakers from the House of Representatives, Provincial Assemblies, and the National Assembly are casting their votes today.
