Nagarik Unmukti Party’s lawmakers Chaudhary released from jail

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Arun Chaudhary, a lawmaker of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, was released from jail on Sunday.
Earlier, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced to free 395 inmates including Chaudhary on the occasion of Democracy Day.
Chaudhary who was elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kailali was arrested on charge of setting fire on a tractor.
Later, the District Court, Kailaki passed a verdict to send Chaudhary along with three others to jail for six months and slapped a fine of 818,423 each.
