Nagarik Unmukti Party’s lawmaker Chaudhary to be released from jail today

KATHMANDU, Feb 19: Arun Chaudhary, a lawmaker of the Nagarik Unmukti Party is being released from the jail on Sunday.
Chaudhary who was elected a member of the House of Representatives from Kailali was arrested on charge of setting fire on a tractor.
Later, the District Court, Kailaki passed a verdict to send Chaudhary along with three others to jail for six months and slapped a fine of 818,423 each.
Likewise, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has announced to free 395 inmates including Chaudhary on the occasion of Democracy Day.
