LSP calls executive committee meeting

KATHMANDU, Feb. 17: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party has called a meeting of the executive committee. It is said that in the meeting of the executive committee which will be held at the party office in Babarmahal on February 22nd, the central committee formation, presidential election, and other issues will be discussed.

Although it has been more than a year and a half since the formation of LSP, the central committee has not been formed yet. Now the homework for building the central committee has started. LSP said that it will be decided by the meeting of the executive committee. The party is also discussing the names that have come for the central committee. After the consensus among the top leaders, it will be decided by the meeting of the executive committee.

There will also be a discussion on the promotion of Chairman Mahant Thakur to the post of President in the meeting. According to the LSP, Thakur can be made the presidential candidate if there is an agreement between the parties.
