HoR Speaker election: NC issues whip to vote for Neupane

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: The Nepali Congress on Wednesday issued a whip to its lawmakers to vote for Ishwori Neupane during the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).
Neupane and Dev Raj Ghimire of the CPN-UML are facing off for the post of the Speaker.
The party has urged its lawmakers to compulsorily attend the HoR meeting scheduled for Thursday and vote for Neupane.
