Prachanda out of Baluwatar
Kathmandu - CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', who reached the Prime Minister's Residence in Baluwatar to hold a decisive discussion on the formation of the government, has left the meeting place. Prachanda reached Baluwatar for discussions saying that his party should be able to lead the government in the first shift.
In Baluwatar, Prachanda discussed with the Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba about government formation. Later, Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of the ruling party United Samajwadi Party and respected leader Jhalanath Khanal also attended the meeting.
There is a dispute over who will take the lead first when the government is formed by rotation in the ruling coalition. The Nepali Congress claims that it should get the post of Prime Minister and President based on public opinion, while the Maoists have submitted their claim to the Prime Minister according to the previous agreement. Although Prachanda has left Baluwatar, Nepal and Khanal still remain in Baluwatar.
