Gold price surges by Rs 1200 in a week, crosses Rs 100,000 per tola

 KATHMANDU, Dec 10: The price of the yellow metal has surged by Rs 1,200 per tola in a week in the Nepali market. 

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the gold is currently being traded at Rs 100,300 per tola.

The price of the fine gold was Rs 99,100 on last Friday which has now surged to Rs 100,300 per tola. 

Likewise, the price of the standard gold was Rs 98,600 per tola last week which is being traded at Rs 99,800 per tola.

A tola is equivalent to 11.66 grams.
