Know which party secured how many seats in HoR election
The Nepali Congress has become the largest party under the First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) category.
KATHMANDU, Dec 5: With Ganga Karki of CPN (Maoist Center) being elected the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Dolakha district, the HoR got its final member.
The election was earlier held on November 20 and the final result of the HoR election was announced on Monday.
The Nepali Congress has become the largest party under the First-Past-The-Post (FPTP) category.
Here is the list of parties and seats won under this category:
1) Nepali Congress - 57 seats
2) CPN-UML - 44 seats
3) CPN (Maoist Center) - 18 seats
4) CPN (Unified Socialist) - 10 seats
5) Rastriya Swatantra Party - seven seats
6) Rastriya Prajatantra Party - seven seats
7) Janata Samajbadi Party - seven seats
8) Loktantrik Samajbadi Party - four seats
9) Nagarik Unmukti Party - one seat
10) Janamorcha Party - one seat
11) Nepal Workers and Peasants Party - one seat
12) Janamat Party - one seat
Likewise, five individual candidates have also been successful to be elected as the member of the HoR.
